Quique Dacosta Restaurante
Creative fine dining with three Michelin stars, in Dénia
Where to find Class & Villas
The restaurant where Quique Dacosta’s universe begins
The website calls it “the main stage”: Quique Dacosta Restaurante in Dénia is the chef’s three-Michelin-star restaurant, where each season is a creative statement and a look at its surroundings.
How it got here
According to the timeline the restaurant publishes, the first Michelin star came in 2003, the second in 2006 and the third in 2012. In 2009, El Poblet in Dénia was renamed Quique Dacosta Restaurante.
The same timeline lists the National Gastronomy Award (2005), the Gold Medal for Fine Arts (2020), 14th place in The World 50 Best Restaurants (2024) and, in 2025, The Best Food Art award at The Best Chef Awards and the Michelin Guide Mentor Chef Award.
This season’s menu
The restaurant serves a single menu, “OCTAVO”, created for this season from its most iconic ingredients and some lesser-known ones. According to the website it costs €315 per person; the optional wine pairing is €165 and the Premium pairing €215, VAT included.
The team
In the kitchen, alongside the chef, is Juanfra Valiente, who has travelled the world with him for fifteen years. Francesca Baccon leads the dining room, and sommelier José Antonio Navarrete runs the wine cellar.
