Terra Jávea
A bar and restaurant among palm trees, with the grill as the star
Feature · Class & Villas
This is my place
In a white house among palm trees and bougainvillea, Terra Jávea brings together a bar and restaurant around a pool, with volcanic-stone grill cooking and flavours that travel from the Mediterranean to Asia.
A house to linger in
Terra Jávea presents itself as a bar and restaurant, and its motto sums it up: “This is my place”. Tables are spread across a large terrace under pergolas and strings of lights, around a pool that is purely decorative and gives the whole place its fresh summer feel. Inside, the house keeps whitewashed dining rooms and a fireplace for the colder months.
Volcanic grill and great produce
Fish and meat are cooked over a volcanic-stone grill. The meats are Galician-reared and aged for at least 25 days; the fish comes to the table with homemade chips and a green salad. Around them, a tapas menu that ranges from Gillardeau oysters and sashimi to ceviches, tataki and mussels in red curry, with vegan dishes marked and a gluten-free menu.
- Los Romescos de TerraGrilled tenderstem broccoli, leek or artichokes with romesco sauce
- Bluefin tuna tatakiWith teriyaki sauce, wasabi, sesame and ginger

From the wine cellar to the cocktail bar
All the desserts are homemade, “freshly made with love”. The wine list runs from wines by the glass to champagnes and Vega Sicilia, and the bar rounds off the evening with sangrias, spritzes, cocktails with and without alcohol, and gin and tonics. Open Tuesday to Sunday, from one in the afternoon to one in the morning.
