A lake as landscape clearly designs the house. The main volume opens to the landscape with a span of 47 free meters. Minimizing to the fullest any visual element that distracts the contemplation of the landscape, and also any physical barrier with the exterior. In order that the opening of the glasses the contact with the surroundings is direct. You can be in a room or in the kitchen and feel the visual freedom.

You go up to the top floor through a circular black metal stairs, reaching the house excellence space, the master bedroom. Its body is perpendicular to the first, with the intention that the space draws the landscape.

VASCO VIEIRA BIO

Vasco Vieira, born 1969 in Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing his degree in architecture at the University of the Witwatersrand (WTS) he moved to portugal where he soon found himself working in the prestigious resort of Vale do Lobo. After a few years, Vasco was appointed as both chief architect and construction director of the resort, a position that he retained for 10 years until setting up his own practice. Vasco Vieira Arquitectos (previously arqui+) was set up in 2003, and Vasco was immediately rewarded for the quality of his architecture being listed as one of the top 10 architects internationally by the Homes Overseas Magazine in 2004. Since then Vasco Vieira Arquitectos has received numerous awards for their innovative designs.
