Four masonry walls arranged in a north-south orientation distribute and delimit the spaces of this single-family home on one floor located in L’Eliana, Valencia.
The first three walls house the spaces of the day area, giving it greater height, and the third and fourth contain the night area.
The main access is through the west façade, through a series of covered-uncovered porches that progressively frame the arrival at the house.
The day area is formed by the living room and kitchen that are directly connected to the pool and the terrace and directly related to the garden, trying to connect the interior spaces with the exteriors in the most direct way.
These spaces are delimited by the masonry walls, which with their composition and materiality relate and interact in a unique way, establishing visual relationships with the garden and gaining height in the living room and hall area.
The night area is made up of 2 rooms that share a wardrobe and a bathroom, a laundry room -machine room, a courtesy toilet and a master bedroom en suite.
The main rooms are oriented to the south, giving them a special treatment on the facade with wooden paneling, and aluminum lattices that serve to protect the windows from solar radiation and the accesses.
The interior materiality aims to be as neutral as possible, with oak wood floors, white lacquered doors and cabinets, and beige-toned ceramics in tune with the stone walls.
All the interior furniture, cabinets, doors, kitchen and bathroom furniture have been designed by the studio for this house.
