When Fashion Awakens the Goddess Within

On May 23rd, La Bambula became the setting for a beyond fashion experience, where the runway transformed into a celebration of emotion, identity, and feminine empowerment. Under the title Goddess, the fashion show brought together sixteen women from the Javea Company team, each representing a different goddess from cultures and mythologies around the world, transforming the catwalk into a tribute to feminine strength.

Each appearance was an invitation to discover the unique essence of every woman, reminding us that true beauty is born from what makes us authentic. Through carefully curated styling, symbolic choreography, and an immersive production, the audience witnessed a story in which power, sensitivity, and confidence walked hand in hand.

The presence of three guardians and the participation of dancers added balance and dynamism to a concept conceived as a genuine contemporary ritual.

Behind this initiative are Cecile Destouches, Andrés Tapasco (Jhota), Dimitra Lepper, and Antoinette Sassen Van Elsloo, who runs Javea Company alongside Edgar Slama. Together, they have transformed these fashion shows, held twice a year, into a highly anticipated event on Jávea’s social calendar. Beyond trends, Goddess delivered a clear message: within every woman lives a goddess waiting to be recognised and celebrated. The next edition is already in preparation.
