Travertine is a natural stone used since Antiquity. Its beige tones, subtle veining and natural pores make each tile unique, giving the home a refined, natural elegance that never feels standardised.

Four formats, one precise design

The opus romano pattern is composed of four different tile sizes, arranged according to a precise layout. Before installation begins, our architect prepares a detailed laying plan, creating a true puzzle that optimises every tile and minimises material waste.

On site, our flooring specialists follow these plans carefully to ensure perfect balance and consistency throughout each space.

An aged look for authentic character

To enhance the traditional feel, we slightly break the edges of the tiles. This technique softens the lines and gives the impression of a naturally aged floor, as if it has always belonged to the house.

Discreet joints, designed for everyday life

We use a natural beige grout, closely matching the travertine tones to keep the overall look harmonious.

The stone’s natural holes can be left visible for a more rustic effect, which we love. In this specific project, however, we chose to fill them with the same material as the grout, making the floor easier to clean and maintain on a daily basis.
