ARCOmadrid is confirmed as a must-see event due to the quality of its artistic content.

The 44th edition of the International Contemporary Art Fair surpassed the global visitor figure of 95,000.

ARCOmadrid, organized by IFEMA MADRID, closes its 44th edition with a positive balance in terms of attendance and commercial dynamism, especially highlighting the high-quality content, which has attracted a very active national and international collector.

ARCOmadrid, which once again enjoyed the commitment of the Royal Family with the presidency of the King and Queen of Spain at the opening ceremony on March 5, estimates it will exceed the global visitor figure of 95,000. It also highlighted the level of professional attendance, which has mobilized the presence of approximately 40,000 professionals from around the world.

With the participation of 214 galleries from 36 countries, the International Contemporary Art Fair and the city of Madrid are gaining weight and recognition in the current international art scene, consolidating itself as an essential event for the art market in Spain and a key meeting and exchange point between Europe and Latin America.

On this occasion, 178 galleries participated in the General Program, adding to the curated sections: Wametisé: Ideas for an Amazon Futurism, with 15 galleries; Opening. New Galleries, with 18; and Profiles | Latin American Art, with 10 galleries.

Museums, institutions, and major collections strengthened their presence in this edition, making key acquisitions that underscore ARCO’s relevance as a market platform and meeting point for the sector.
