La Fontana Restaurant was founded in 1963, being the first restaurant on the Arenal beach in Jávea, also called “Casa Mollet” (as the grandfather was popularly known).
It started as a beach bar which has grown over time and is currently the third generation that runs this restaurant.
In 2017 they opened another restaurant, Posidonia, which is located a few meters from La Fontana and in 2019 a wine and gourmet product store called El Celler de La Fontana, located in the same restaurant in order to offer customers a more complete experience.
La Fontana is definitely a place to visit with a great location and atmosphere.
In 2019 Javier Vives, current owner, received the Recognition for Professionalism in the Room at the XIV Annual ARX Gala, an award given by colleagues in the sector.
They have a spacious lounge and terrace where you can enjoy your family reunions, business lunches and dinners or at celebrations and events. Today they offer traditional Mediterranean cuisine, specializing in paellas, fideuàs and dishes of Valencian origin. On its menu you can find everything from rice dishes to meat and fish, pizzas, a wide variety of Mediterranean tapas and homemade desserts.
