A kitchen open all day, right above the harbour water

On the first floor of the Muelle Pesquero, facing La Grava beach, Cala Bandida serves non-stop from 9 am: breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon drinks and dinner.

Cala Bandida looks out over the bay from the port of Jávea, with a glazed terrace that brings the Mediterranean close to almost every table. Inside, turquoise, wood and small details in corners and on shelves set the tone; the bar has been extended for more space and comfort.

Its Non Stop Food Service keeps the kitchen open all day: morning breakfasts, brunches and smoothies, lunch, afternoon cocktails and a dinner in a cosy setting, as the restaurant itself puts it.

What to order

The menu is Mediterranean and extensive: appetisers, cold and hot starters, rice dishes, fish, meat, focaccias, burgers and Xàbia-style cocas. Rice dishes are served for a minimum of two and can be ordered dry, creamy or brothy. A few dishes from the current menu:

• Arroz de pulpo de Xàbiawith artichokes and broccoli
• Creamy lobster riceblue lobster, cooked in the paella pan
• Bluefin tuna tartarewith avocado, mango and house vinaigrette
• Grilled octopuswith mashed potato and caramelised onion
• Grilled turbotwith vinaigrette, potatoes and vegetables (minimum two)
• Cocas de Xàbiasobrasada and goat’s cheese, or onion with figatells
• Horchata torrijawith leche merengada ice cream and cinnamon

Monday to Friday, at lunch and dinner, there is a set menu for €25.95, according to its October 2026 advert.
