A concept store in a Jávea palace

Hinédito began as a concept store bringing fashion, décor, furniture and accessories together under one roof. Its Jávea shop occupies the Palacio de los Sapena, opposite the fortified church of San Bartolomé.

The Palacio de los Sapena

Víctor Nebot found in this old palace built of tosca stone, on Plaza de la Iglesia, the place to open Hinédito. It offers more than 400 square metres of showroom with a selection of décor, furniture, candles, clothing and accessories.

The idea behind the shop is that fashion and décor belong together: pieces are shown as complete rooms, so you see not just an object but how it fits into a space.

Jávea and Valencia

The Jávea shop was followed by a second one in Valencia, at Calle Isabel la Católica 23. According to Hinédito, both share the same essence with a personality of their own: Jávea fresher and more Mediterranean, Valencia more urban.

Interior design projects

Alongside the shops, Hinédito's advertisements present the interior design projects of Carlos Serra's studio, based at Calle Pizarro 20 in Valencia.

Class & Villas featured one of them in issue 342, “El lujo de la calma”: a second home in Jávea designed to be lived in all year round. The house revolves around a large living and dining room with as many windows as possible, natural colours and textures, a fireplace dividing the living and dining areas, and a kitchen with a handmade black clay worktop.
